Due to a Congressional mandate to implement a furlough for certain government employees, Kenner Army Health Clinic’s (KAHC) services will be severely limited on Fridays, July 12 through September 30, 2013, as outlined below.
Permanent Party Active Duty Service Members:
Care will be provided at the Mosier Consolidated Troop Medical Clinic, Ordnance Campus (Building 18036), 300 Central Avenue, Fort Lee. Some laboratory, pharmacy and x-ray services will be available for patients seen on the furlough Fridays.
Hours of Operation: 6 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Sick call: 6 a.m. - 8 a.m.
Pharmacy: 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Student Trainee Population (AIT):
AIT service members should report to Troop Medical Clinic #1 (TMC 1), Building 3219, on B Avenue, Fort Lee, for health care on furlough Fridays.

Pharmacy: 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Family Members, Retirees and their Family Members:
All other eligible beneficiaries who have acute or urgent care needs should call the Kenner Administrative Officer of the Day at (804) 734-9000 for referral authorization to visit an urgent care center on furlough Fridays.
The Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) and Social Work Services:
DBH services will be available on furlough Fridays on a limited basis by appointment only at the KAHC main building, Building 8130, 3rd floor. Patients should use the A. Avenue parking lot and entrance for access to DBH. All other entrances will be secured as the staff are working at other locations. To make an appointment, call (804) 734-9143.
Patients with medical emergencies should call 911 or report to the nearest hospital emergency room.
Please note that patients will not have access to the KAHC main building as services normally provided will not be available. Please plan accordingly for all ancillary services.
